Client’s Voice~Localization of E-learning

Hello! I’m Satoko, a freelance English-Japanese translator living in Sapporo, Hokkaido.
This time, I would like to introduce client‘s voice from the company in IT industry. Since this spring, I have been participating in the localization project of E-learning.
This is AI-Post Edit task, so I’m checking translation by AI of slide, the narration voice, and exercises and fixing to natural and understandable sentences.
I think row-AI translation cannot be used in real-world contents. Definitely there are some missing translations, grammatical mistakes, and unnatural expressions.
It is the human who learn to use that E-learning contents, so I translate to understandable slides and narrations with the perspective of the user of the E-learning. I can have the perspective of the user because I’m a human translator.
And this client told me that they stared their business in Japan. And they also said that working with this team has been one of the best parts of this project.
I saw the moment breaking the wall of the language by human translation and acetate their business. I would like to make more moments like this from now on. Looking forward to the work consultations from you, around the world! Feel free to contact via Contact page.
